Clive Simpson - author of Flood Waters Down
About this Event
EarthLincs are very pleased to welcome Clive Simpson, a Lincolnshire Author, former Spalding Grammar School student, who started his writing career on the Lincolnshire Free Press.
Clive has wealth of writing expertise over more than three decades, and experience of working as a journalist and writer across all aspects of print and online media.
Clive's work includes writing on the environment, the climate crisis facing our planet and his latest work, a novel, Flood Waters Down, is set in the flooded Fens of Eastern England, where the abandoned cling to life in a waterlogged wilderness, while the wealthy elite live inside luxurious domed enclaves ruled by an increasingly malevolent intelligence.
Haunting, prophetic and fiercely human, Flood Waters Down is a powerful exploration of survival, resistance and moral reckoning in a world undone by climate collapse – and threatened by the very intelligence it created to save itself.
Signed copies of Clive's book will be available to purchase
