Climate Week NYC: People-Focused. Climate-Friendly. Food-Forward NYC.
About this Event
On Tuesday, September 22nd, join Food Tank, the New York City's Mayor's Office, Strong Roots, and Support + Feed at WNYC-NPR Studios’ The Greene Space in New York City.
What does a New York look like that is People-Focused, Climate-Friendly, and Plant-Forward? In partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Food Policy, Strong Roots, and Support + Feed, the Tuesday evening program will explore how New York City's food future can best promote the health of people and planet. Food systems are not all created equal or equitably and the solution is more inclusion on and off the menu. Featuring City agencies and organizations that have pioneered innovative nutritious, delicious meal programs that support their unique populations’ well-being, the evening investigates how inclusivity accross the food system is foundational for a more flourishing New York City.
