About this Event
The climate crisis can bring up all kinds of feelings. Worry, sadness, anger, confusion, even hope. You don’t have to carry them alone. From wildfires and droughts to floods and food insecurity, the impacts of climate change are all around us and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed.
This Climate Café is a relaxed, respectful space to talk openly about how our changing world is affecting you and those around you. Certified Nature Therapy Guide Claire Beach will facilitate this circle, drawing on her training with the Climate Psychology Alliance to create a safe, non-judgmental space for honest sharing.
There’s no pressure to speak, and no expectation to have answers. Just the opportunity to be heard and to listen.
Climate Cafés are not about debating science or policy, and they’re not about giving advice. They’re about creating connection, building understanding, and finding strength in community. Sometimes, knowing we’re not alone can be the first step toward feeling more grounded and resilient.
Come as you are. Everyone is welcome.
Thanks to our sponsors, this session is FREE. We ask that each person make an average purchase of $10 at Pedal Works Cafe & Studios as gratitude for this community-first local business.
