Climate Cafe at the Climate Imaginarium House on Governors Island

Join us for a Climate Café, a safe space to openly express and explore emotions like fear, frustration, grief, and hope, within a supportive community while being surrounded by climate art. We will begin with a short guided meditation followed by a conversation to raise awareness around climate change and its effect on our mental health. Welcoming individuals from around the world who will come together to share their cultural perspectives, fostering connection and solidarity.

We will gather with the intention to:

• Share personal stories and experiences
• Build mutual respect and understanding
• Honor all voices equally
• Celebrate the unique knowledge and cultural experience each individual brings.

Together, we’ll build community and resilience for the climate movement.
