The Care of Creation Team of Sisters of St Bendict
at St Mary Monastery invites you to join us on
Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm
as we gather as people of faith to explore together how we might support each other in climate action.
As a follow-up to the Season of Creation Inter-Faith Prayer Service, we will gather together to explore with other lovers of creation how our faith informs and strengthens our commitment to our common home, and how our awareness of the Earth’s journey informs our understanding of God. We will also consider ways we might continue to support each other in education and/or action.
The event will take place in Benet House Retreat Center at St. Mary Monastery, 2200 88th Ave W., Rock Island, IL
Free will offering, no registration needed.
The Sept 19th Season of Creation Inter-Faith Prayer Service was a time of prayer, reflection, and action for the care of our common home. Thank you to everyone who attended. You are invited to join on Oct 7th as we explore further a conversion of heart that will bear fruit in a deeper communion with the Spirit, love of one another and respect and care for the gift of creation.
