Cleo Birdseed uses music as a vehicle to open hearts and minds. Inspired at a young age by his late uncle Elliott Smith, Cleo taught himself to sing and play guitar and began composing songs and performing live in Northern California and Oregon. Cleo writes intricate and thoughtful music that blends influences from folk, rock, and alternative genres in a style that sounds uniquely his own. After meeting like minded musicians while living in Portland, Cleo assembled a live band to breathe new life into the music and amplify each song’s message. Cleo now lives on the road full time, performing impromptu solo sets on the streets of towns along the West Coast and meeting up with the band to tour.
