About this Event

This novice outrigger canoe training is for all ages (14 years and up). We will be training on the beach and in 6-person outrigger canoes. Outrigger canoe is a traditional polynesian / Hawaiian sport, that has grown throughout the world and is practiced in multiple clubs here in Florida. Canoes are typically singles, doubles or six person canoes. (Video posted here is our small-craft race, Suncoast Paddle Challenge, held in May 2024.)
