Seven on-the-water training sessions included; safety, outrigger canoe culture, paddling technique. Limited to 10 participants. Ages 14 & up . Seven (7) sessions total. Four Saturday mornings and three Thursday evenings included. Saturdays 9-11 am and Thursdays 6-8 pm; . Dates: Sats.: July 6, 13, 20, 27 and Thurs: July 11, 18, 25.
This novice outrigger canoe training is for all ages (14 years and up). We will be training on the beach and in 6-person outrigger canoes. Outrigger canoe is a traditional Polynesian / Hawaiian sport, that has grown throughout the world and is practiced in multiple clubs here in Florida.
