Clear the Shelters Free Adoption Event

The San Francisco SPCA is hosting free adoptions, waiving adoption fees on all animals for one day only on Saturday, August 22. There will be adoptable puppies, kittens, dogs and cats, as well as family-friendly fun, food, and more. Snuggle buddies, walking partners, and pint-sized sidekicks are all waiting to be met at the SF SPCA Adoption Center. SF SPCA’s partner, Lagunitas, will be onsite pouring Hoppy Water, and adopters will have the opportunity to secure tickets to the sold-out Live at Lagunitas concert featuring Allen Stone on Monday, August 24. 

Throughout August, the SF SPCA is waiving adoption fees on adult cats and dogs (five months and older).  The Name Your Price promotion is part of the NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide campaign, Clear the Shelters, helping more pets find loving homes. The Lagunitas partnership helps extend the momentum of the Name Your Price promotion and encourage more pet adoptions throughout the end of the month.
