Rainbow Bridge of Remembrance：A Community Workshop for Love & Healing

Every relationship leaves a mark on our hearts. Whether you are remembering a beloved pet, a family member, or a dear friend, this gentle community workshop offers a peaceful space to honor their memory with love, gratitude, and hope.

Inspired by the traditional Asian Ullambana Festival (similar in spirit to Mexico's Día de los Muertos), we will introduce the cultural traditions behind remembering our ancestors and loved ones, as well as Buddhist perspectives on compassion, gratitude, and the cycle of life.

You are welcome to bring a photo of someone you miss—including pets of any kind (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, and more).

During the workshop, you will:

🌈 Create a Rainbow Bridge remembrance card

💌 Write a personal message to your loved one or pet

🪷 Prepare a symbolic remembrance offering package

🕯 Light a lotus candle in remembrance

🙏 Experience approximately 20 minutes of peaceful chanting

💛 Receive a 30-minute group Energy Blessing session

All remembrance cards, photos, and paper offerings will be respectfully included in our Ullambana Blessing Ceremony on August 23 as a symbol of love, gratitude, and letting go.

This workshop is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Whether you are grieving a recent loss or simply wish to honor someone special, you are warmly welcome.

We believe love continues through remembrance.

Death is not simply an ending—it can also be an opportunity to express gratitude, healing, and our heartfelt wishes for those who have gone before us.

本活动以亚洲传统的盂兰盆节文化为灵感（类似墨西哥亡灵节），介绍盂兰盆节的由来、地藏王菩萨的慈悲精神，以及佛教关于生命、因果、六道轮回与感恩的智慧，让大家了解不同文化对于生命延续与纪念的方式。

欢迎携带任何往生宠物（猫、狗、兔子、鸟类、蜥蜴、荷兰猪等）或亲友的照片，一起来纪念他们。
