Lancashire Police, Wyre Council and local health services are committed to improving the local area and making the area from Hatfield Avenue to Broadwater estate a better place to live. Over the coming weeks you will see the launch of PROSPER the local authority's new operation focussing on this area of Fleetwood.

Designed by the home office, PROSPER is the Lancashire version of a nationwide initiative to see community safety partners such as local authority, Police, Fire service, housing, NHS, social services, drug services and many more work together with residents to disrupt and deter organised crime groups (OCG's). The aim is to stop neighbourhoods like yours, being affected and exploited through drug dealing and organised crime.

Drugs are a blight on our town. We need the support of the local community to protect those who are affected, rid the streets of the criminals, and end the misery they bring to our lives. Together we can make a difference in Fleetwood, a town we are all proud to serve and be a part of.
