🌿 LET’S DO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL — TOGETHER.The beauty industry produces over 877 pounds of waste every minute — much of it ends up in landfills, oceans, or completely overlooked. We’re not okay with that. And we know you aren’t either.
So we’re turning our values into action.
Join TRU Hair Salon and our incredible partners for a powerful community event centered around sustainability, local pride, and conscious beauty. This is your chance to get involved, clean up our streets, and be part of something that truly makes a difference in Colorado Springs!
💪 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🧹 Ivywild Community Trash Pickup
Let’s beautify the streets together! We’ll supply the gloves, bags, and gear — you bring the heart. All are welcome, and snacks + refreshments will be provided to keep you fueled!
♻️ Salon Waste Drop-Off Station
Got beauty waste sitting around? We’ll take it.
Bring us:
• Empty beauty product containers & pumps (cleaned)
• Used foils
• Hair clippings
• Broken or unused hot tools
We’ll weigh, sort, and recycle it locally — the right way.
