Clay Coil Heart Pottery Class at Metta Coffee Cafe

Join Rumriver Art Center at Metta Coffee (located inside Avant Garden Bookstore) to make a heart shaped hot pad. This item could also be used to hold small plants, a candle, or be used as a trinket dish. Participants will be shown how to shape the heart using a coil building technique. After the heart is constructed we will use colorful underglaze to decorate the creations. No prior experience is required!
Your work will be ready for pickup in about 2-3 weeks. You will receive an email notifying you when your work is ready for pick-up. It is your responsibility to retrieve your pieces within 14 days after they are fired at Rumriver Art Center (2665 4th Ave. Suite #103, Anoka).
We can hold these events due to the extremely generous donation from Metta Coffee allowing us to use their cafe space to make art.
This class is great for kids 13 and older, great for adults, great for the whole family!
