New Brunswick Provincial Exhibition and The New Brunswick Professional Wrestling Association Present Clash 48 & Clash 49!
On September 11th AND 12th as part of FREX Week, Capital City Wrestling presents TWO separate shows!
The main issue at hand stems from last month's devastating attack on "Horsepower" Hunter Sampson! After the Rugged Horsepower/Crued Oil match ended in a disqualification, the two Albertans didn't let up and wouldn't stop until they had bloodied Owens and seemingly injured Sampson's leg with the aid of a steel chair. It was absolute chaos and it means that the River Valley Champion Chevron has been BANNED from the building this month! Of course with Hunter out of action, that leaves Rick Owens and Scotley Crue to battle it out in an NBWA Heavyweight Title rematch, which will take place this month! Will the score finally be settled or is this the culmination of the annexation of New Brunswick?
We also saw many changes in the tag team division. After Matt Strong was given a join-or-die ultimatum by Money Talks, he was jumped by the group until Nick Strong made the save, seemingly patching things up with his estranged twin brother! Because of Logan Green's injury, Money Talks was stripped of their Tag Team Championship and the titles were held up in a match between the Real Deal Heroes and the reunited Strongs. At the end of the night, the Strongs held the titles high in the air.
The tag team division wasn't through though - we also saw the return of JP Simms and Anthony "Duce" Harlem, who were both successful in singles action. Their attack and beatdown of Chezenko led to another unlikely pairing when Olafur Hanson made the save. With these two teams, the eventual returns of Money Talks and Ace Dynasty, the Strongs, the Real Deal Heroes and Crued Oil, the division is quite possibly the hottest it's ever been!
The women's division has also gotten very interesting. It was looking like Salem Wilder would be walking into this show as the reigning and defending champion but that might possibly not be the case anymore as Stormie Hale recently captured that championship during the NBWA summer tour. Can Wilder win it back before these shows? Well, either way, both ladies will have their hands full as Stormie Hale will be facing the towering presence of Vanessa Kraven and Salem will be taking on "The Ultimate Woman" Layla Wilde. This will be the official CCW debut for both ladies!
Be sure to join us for TWO shows September 11th and 12th. It's going to be a double header you won't want to miss!
