There is a lot to break down after the raucous CCW 4Ever event that took place!
After a grueling back-and-forth battle, the NBWA Heavyweight Championship match reached a controversial ending when it seemed like Scotley Crue had everything in-hand thanks to the interference by Chevron. However, "Horsepower" Hunter Sampson witnessed the use of brass knuckles on behalf of the challenger and did the only thing he could: he pulled the referee out of the ring and caused Owens to be disqualified. Despite a tense moment between Owens and Sampson following the ending of the match, the challenge was laid out: Rick Owens and Hunter Sampson, collectively known as Rugged Horsepower, will be taking on the team of Crued Oil at this month's Summer Clash!
In other news, we have an undisputed NBWA Women's Champion in Salem Wilder! After going head-to-head with Stormie Hale over who was truly the one champion, the two finally settled the score and Wilder was able to walk away with the brand-new NBWA Women's Championship. What is next on the horizon for the Local Girl and how will Stormie Hale bounce back from the devastating loss?
Another title change? Yes, that's right! After last month's shocking upset in which the Real Deal Heroes captured the NBWA Tag Team Championships thanks to the interference of Logan Green, there was only one way to settle it. Ace Dynasty, Money Talks and the new champions squared off in a triple threat match with attempted alliances and backstabbing galore. It all came to an end when Money Talks was able to sneak their way into a win and become the two-time NBWA Tag Team Champions. Was this their plan all along? What will the fallout be following this huge title change?
The Alberta Clipper Chevron was able to securely hold onto his newly-won River Valley Title after facing stiff competition from the Steel Eagle Chezenko. In what was a brutal back-and-forth encounter, the champion caught his challenger with a superkick out of nowhere and picked up the victory. What's next for the River Valley Champion?
Another very interesting development took place when Dan McCullough took on Oscar Ironside in singles action. Though Ironside came out on the winning end, it was Chris Lewis who made the difference when he prevented McCullough from being able to re-enter the ring, which led to a count-out. Following the match, Ironside was relentless and administered a beatdown. Even Chris Lewis looked like he was going to get physically involved until Patrick O'Neil made an appearance! Despite Ironside and O'Neil being tag team partners, the latter didn't look too ecstatic about his friend's actions and questioned both of them while standing alongside McCullough. Has the friendship been irreversibly tainted with the addition of Chris Lewis? What can we expect to see develop from this breakdown in communication?
