Civil Cafe: Rule of Law
About this Event
Our society is governed by public laws, but they often can be taken for granted. Join us in the newsroom or online on Wednesday, December 2 at 5pm for a conversation marking the final stop of the visiting Chief Justices’ Rule of Law Tour in Hawaiʻi, featuring former Hawaiʻi Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald, former Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Lawton Nuss and former Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor.
The justices will reflect and share their experiences and observations from their time in Hawaiʻi and discuss why the rule of law is essential to our communities and democracy.
Submit your questions here for the panel.
