CIVIC NYC: FROM CONCERN TO ACTION
About this Event
Join us for a practical, engaging evening for New Yorkers who want to become more civically engaged but may not know where to start.
Learn how NYC government and local politics work, and explore different ways to participate, from voting and advocacy to community boards, education councils, campaigns, and civic leadership
Hear from people who have stepped up in their own communities.
Leave with concrete next steps and opportunities to get involved, whether you have an hour to give or are ready for a deeper commitment.
Come concerned. Leave with a place to start.
Convened by UJA-Federation of New York, Project Activate, New York Solidarity Network (NYSN), and Brooklyn Bridge Builders, with additional community partners.
