SevanKelee “Lucky 7” Boult is a performance artist and yoga therapist from East Palo Alto, California. A graduate of UC Berkeley and an alum of Poetry for the People under the late June Jordan, SevanKelee has been a vital presence in the Bay Area poetry and performance scene for decades. Her work spans the stage and beyond… from being a four-time Grand Slam Champion to hosting, to earning the title of 2017 SF Drag King, and serving as a RAW resident artist at SafeHouse Arts in San Francisco. SevanKelee continues to evolve, redefining her writing and performance with each new chapter.
Sign ups for the Slam start at 6pm, the compeition begins at 7pm - Anyone who signs up to compete gets free entry.
1st place receives $150
Runner up receives $50
Sign up before the Slam ends for the Open Mic. Sign up at the door for free entry. We can provide a mic, and guitar amp, you are responsible for cables and any other equipment. For digital files please have an MP3 or WAV file to transfer to the DJ, we cannot stream from the internet.
