Join Cape Fear CREW members and guests to hear about the City's recent purchase of downtown Wilmington’s tallest commercial office building. This building includes a 1,022-space parking deck, 370,000 square feet of office space, and an appraised value of $111.3 million. The City purchased the property for $68 million with no tax increase. The Skyline campus represents a creative and cost-effective solution to growing demands on city operations and downtown parking.
The city intends to sell several vacated buildings and surplus properties as part of their overall strategy for the property. Insights from our Cape Fear Commercial speakers will add context to the transaction as well as additional economic development activities.
