Save the date! The 41st annual City Day event will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5 - 8 pm in Washington Park. This year's celebration will expand on past year's, offering interactive tables with City departments, community organization booths, activities, games and more.
We offer a menu of delicious and reasonably priced food items - all cooked and served up by our elected officials, department heads and volunteers. A DJ will be there all evening to keep the celebration in high gear; and the winner of the Jacqueline Nixon Community Service Award will be announced. Plus lots and lots of fun stuff for the kiddies!
