As Citrus County looks to the future, we invite you to share ideas that will help shape goals for the next generation of residents and businesses.
These ideas will be incorporated in an updated Comprehensive Plan to capture the vision for our county in 2050. This plan will guide how land is used, infrastructure is built, and resources are protected.
Our current plan was adopted in 1990. We’d like to update it to reflect community voices on topics including land use, housing, transportation, conservation, coastal management, parks, and open space. The mission is to ensure preservation of our county’s unique character and quality of life.
