About this Event
Participants will gain a clear understanding of the Canadian Citizenship Test format and requirements. The session will reduce barriers to citizenship by providing accurate information, guided preparation strategies, and access to library and community resources that support successful integration and civic participation. Participants will leave with increased confidence and awareness of available study tools and supports.
This workshop is for adult newcomers who are permanent residents preparing for the Canadian Citizenship Test. Participants will learn about the test format, key topics from Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship, and practical study strategies. A representative from Welcome Centre Immigrant Services will lead the session with guidance and tips, while library staff will showcase free digital resources available at the library to support exam preparation.
