For 35 years, Citizen of the Year has told one story. It’s the story of people who show up quietly, consistently, and without expectation.This year, as the Maple Ridge Community Foundation marks 50 years of giving where we live, we’re also celebrating 35 years of Citizen of the Year, a tradition rooted in gratitude and community recognition, with a golden-themed evening planned to honour this milestone.
Nominations for Citizen of the Year are open, and tickets are now available to attend this year’s celebration.
The evening will be hosted by Treena Innes, Life Fun Expert, with more details to be shared as the event comes together—but the heart of the night has always been, and will always be, the people.
