Join us for a day of tree planting and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We are planting trees in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency . They create healthier, happier communities, tackle the climate crisis head on, reconnect us to our natural world, and provide essential habitats for wildlife.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day - you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages.

Parking/public transport

• On street parking is available on Green Way.
• Hall i' th' Wood rail station is a 4 minute walk away. Buses 525 and 527 go to Green Way. Buses 901, 902, 903, 918, 921, 923, 925, 928 and 936 also stop by the site.

About the site

Hall i' th' Wood is a public green space. The area where we will be working includes a hill and there is uneven ground. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
