Citizen Forester Tree Planting and Maintenance at High View, Bolton

The Details

Join us for a day of tree planting and maintenance and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We will be carrying out tree maintenance on previously panted plots and giving our young trees at High View some Tree-LC. We will be carrying out this work to ensure that the these trees reach establishment and create woodland areas that will support the local wildlife whilst also responding to the climate emergency.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day - you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and older children.

• Parking is available on Kermoor Avenue.
• Kermoor Avenue bus stop is a couple of minutes walk from the site. You can get the number 927 or the 537 bus.

About the site

High View is a is a public green space. The area where we will be working has flat uneven ground, with access via natural paths. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
