Cultivate joy and peace in the midst of broken things. Join us as we mend our bodies, belongings, and beloved communities.
About this Event

It's hard to be human. On any given day, we’re faced with many reminders of the brokenness within and around us.

Is it possible to repair? We think so! And we want to share some of the things we've learned along the way.

We invite you to join us at our first-ever Circle of Repair.

We'll practice mending:

  • Our bodies—through gentle, creative movements
  • Our belongings—with simple tools and techniques
  • Our beloved communities—by giving from what we've been given*

How much is it?

It costs $25.

We'll donate $10 of your ticket to Water First, an organization dedicated to working in partnership with Indigenous communities to address local water challenges through education, training and meaningful collaboration.

The rest goes towards covering our costs and time.

What do I bring?

If you have a mending project you want to work on—bring it. Otherwise, we'll load you up with supplies and items you can practice on.

  • exercise mat
  • water
  • journal
  • ?

Who is hosting?

Charlotte and Maria met over 15 years ago, which Maria often forgets.

They connected over a mutual interest in health and wellness, and their friendship has deepened over the years. They've lived through many personal crises and celebrations, become parents at the same time, and eaten MANY croissants together.

And now, they're hosting this event, which they've been talking about doing for about 15 years.

They aren't experts in repair—they are students of it.

And it's their honour to invite you into this Circle of Repair.
