Η Ταινιοθήκη της Ελλάδος, η Cinecittà, η Ιταλική Πρεσβεία και το Ιταλικό Μορφωτικό Ινστιτούτο Αθηνών φέρνουν το άρωμα της Ιταλίας στην οθόνη μας και παρουσιάζουν 9 ταινίες μυθοπλασίας, με σημαντικά βραβεία στις αποσκευές τους και συμμετοχές στα σπουδαιότερα φεστιβάλ του κόσμου!
Μετά την μεγάλη επιτυχία των προηγούμενων διοργανώσεων, το 4ο αφιέρωμα Cinema made in Italy/Athens θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 21 με 27 Νοεμβρίου (εκτός Δευτέρας 25/11), στην Ταινιοθήκη της Ελλάδος παρουσιάζοντας μια επιλογή από πολύ πρόσφατες ταινίες, αντιπροσωπευτικές του ιταλικού σινεμά σήμερα.
Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει 6 νέες ιταλικές ταινίες σε ελληνική πρεμιέρα, από τα μεγαλύτερα διεθνή φεστιβάλ. Επίσης, θα προβληθούν δύο εμβληματικά ιταλικά φιλμ σε νέες αποκατεστημένες κόπιες, με αφορμή τα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Μαρτσέλο Μαστρογιάννι: το 8 1/2 του Φεντερίκο Φελίνι με τον Μαρτσέλο Μαστρογιάννι και την Κλαούντια Καρντινάλε και το Μια ξεχωριστή μέρα του Ετόρε Σκόλα στο οποίο ο μεγάλος ηθοποιός συμπρωταγωνιστεί με τη Σοφία Λόρεν.
Την Κυριακή 24 Νοεμβρίου η Ταινιοθήκη θα υποδεχθεί τον σημαντικό σκηνοθέτη, σεναριογράφο και παραγωγό Πούπι Αβάτι ο οποίος θα παρευρεθεί στην προβολή της τελευταίας ταινίας του Η αμερικανική πίσω αυλή.
Την ίδια μέρα, η Ταινιοθήκη θα υποδεχθεί και τον σπουδαίο Ιταλό ηθοποιό Τόνι Σερβίλο ο οποίος θα παρευρεθεί στην προβολή της σοκαρικής ταινίας Η τέλεια ομορφιά του Πάολο Σορεντίνο. Ο Σερβίλο θα βρεθεί στην Αθήνα καθώς πρωταγωνιστεί στην παράσταση «Οι φωνές του Δάντη» (25 Νοεμβρίου) στο Ολύμπια – Δημοτικό Θέατρο «Μαρία Κάλλας»

The Greek Film Archive, Cinecittà, the Italian Embassy to Greece and the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens bring a scent of Italy to our screens and present us 6 new Italian films in Greek premiere, from the greatest international film festivals!
Following the great success of the previous editions, the 4th tribute Cinema made in Italy/Athens will take place from the 21st to the 27th of November (excluding Monday 25/11) in the premises of the Greek Film Archive, presenting a selection of very recent films, representative of contemporary Italian cinema.
The program includes 6 new Italian films in Greek premiere from the greatest international film festivals. It is also includes two emblematic Italian films in new restored copies, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Marcello Mastroianni: Federico Fellini’s 8 ½ with Marcello Mastroianni and Claudia Cardinale and Ettore Scola’s A Special Day/Una Giornata Particolare with Marcello Mastroianni and Sofia Loren.
On Sunday, November 24th, the Greek Film Archive will welcome the great Italian director, screenwriter and film producer Pupi Avati, who will attend the screening of his latest film, The American Backyard/L'orto americano.
On the same day, the Greek Film Archive will also host the great Italian actor Toni Servillo for the screening of Paolo Sorrentino’s Oscar-winning The Great Beauty/La Grande Bellezza. Servillo will be in Athens to perform his show "The voices of Dante/Le voci di Dante", on the 25th of November at the Olympia Municipal Music Theatre "Maria Callas".
