Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Immanuel with music, food, and many family-friendly events. Gloria Dei has held this event for over 19 years to celebrate the holiday, which marks the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862.The event starts at noon with amazing tacos (chicken, pork, and carne asada), rice, beans, chips, and refreshments.
Admission to the event is:
$20 per ticket for adults
$10 for children 8-14, and free to children under 7.
Family tickets will be $50.
Tickets can be purchased in the office or at the door. The proceeds will go to Gloria Dei Hispanic Mission to help update the new church in Lake Station.
