CIACCONE, PASSACAGLIE AND OTHER LADIES
Raise your hand if you have never had a ‘catchphrase’ in your head! No one, right? It has certainly happened to all of us to hum a melody that has stuck in our minds, even if we then change the lyrics and improvise over it to try to break its repetition again and again… The Basso Ostinato, to which we dedicate this concert, is none other than this: the hypnotic return of a bass melody on which something new is woven and developed from time to time!
