Next Saturday 17th at 11.30am - St Thomas a Becket Church in Cliffe is pleased to offer its first fortnightly guided tour this year to climb the tower to see the ancient clock and bells. Second-oldest (1670) turret clock in Sussex; lovely and very special oak bellframe of c1400 and bells from 1566. Not many belfries survive like this, and few that are easily reached by stairs. Hear the big tenor bell strike twelve!
