About this Event
About this event Modern healthcare is changing fast. From smart wearables and AI to groundbreaking clinical trials, there are more tools than ever to help manage chronic conditions. But are these technologies actually designed with you in mind?
In association with Innovation Hub Exeter, we are hosting an informal focus group to discuss the "Future of Health." We want to hear your thoughts on what’s working, what’s missing, and how tech can better serve the chronic health community.
What we’ll discuss: * Innovative Tech: What digital tools or pharmeuticals are actually useful for your condition?
- The Trial Frontier: How clinical research is evolving and what role it plays in accessing new treatments.
- Real-World Barriers: Why some "innovations" fail to make life easier and how we can fix them.
The Co-Design Session: As part of this group, you’ll get an exclusive first look at a new health app in development. We don't just want you to use it—we want you to help co-design it. Your feedback will help shape everything from how it looks to how it handles data, ensuring it remains patient-first.
Who is this for? Anyone who has an interest in how technology and research can improve quality of life. Whether you are a tech enthusiast or a total beginner, your lived experience is what matters.
The Details: * Location: Innovation Hub Exeter.
- Vibe: A relaxed, small-group conversation with tea/coffee and plenty of room for discussion.
- Impact: Directly influence the development of a tool designed to make health management and research participation simpler.
