Chroma Colour Portrait Photography Workshop

Come join us for a fun and hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to create stunning studio portraits using creative colour techniques!

This is a full-day course with an educational focus, as well as being a fun and sociable day, you’ll produce some amazing images and have some new skills in your toolkit!

You’ll be working in a very small group to ensure everyone gets plenty of time creating images with the models and 1 2 1 time with me!

Included in the price are three professional edits per student made by my team.

NOT Included in the workshop price: There is also the opportunity to order more pro edits or to have 121 editing tuition to make sure you get the very best out of the images made on the day!

Info: An introduction in to how we use strobe lighting to create striking portraits. During this section you will also set up your cameras ready for the days shooting. If you use a mirrorless camera please make sure you have exposure preview facilities turned off. [ BUT we will deal with this on the day !!]

Info: We will be joined by are first model and we will use variations of the first light set up with them. You will all have plenty of 121 time with the model and your images will be constantly appraised by me while I advise you one how to improve and work towards your final finished shots. I take great care in organising a diverse range of sitters for these workshops. Each sitter gives their time in exchange for some of your final images from the day for them to use as they see fit. They are usually drawn from creative fields, and we have artists, musicians, writers and the occasional model join us to make these events as creative as possible.

Info: We will be joined by our second model and I will demonstrate a completely new lighting set up. You will all have 121 time the the sitter and be encourage to adjust the lighting to suit your own creative goals. Full technical support will be given throughout. During this time you will be encourage to take a 30 minute break for lunch. We rotate lunch to allow even more time with the modes attending on the day!

Info: We will be joined by our final model and this time you will be encouraged to apply what you have learnt and take the lead in making your images. This last session is also an ideal time to have any ideas of your own facilitated by me as best as time allows. By the end of the day you should have some terrific folio and web content! I also offer editing sessions if you would like expert tuition on how to get the most out of what you have shot!
