Zentangle is a playful, structured approach to drawing that anyone can enjoy. Instead of worrying about “getting it right,” you follow simple steps and watch patterns emerge. You will see why this method is designed for relaxation, mindfulness, and creativity — not perfection. As a result, it’s easy to feel calm and creative at the same time.

We’ll begin with a short introduction to the Zentangle method. You’ll follow established Zentangle steps with your instructor and build something unique and beautiful. Happily, with each new pattern comes a sense of rhythm, and soon your mind will settle into the same calm pace as your pen. Meanwhile, you’ll notice your confidence growing.

You don’t need any drawing skills. In fact, Zentangle is perfect for beginners and for anyone who thinks they “can’t draw.” This means that every artwork turns out different, and there are no mistakes — only new directions. Indeed, you’ll find out why Zentangle is accessible, fun, and stress-free. Above all, it’s about enjoying the process, not the result.

During the session, you’ll also experiment with shadows and colour to bring extra depth and character to your work.

Beyond the workshop, Zentangle can become a simple tool for stress relief. So, many people use it to unwind after work, pause in the middle of a busy day, or as a creative warm-up before other art projects. Once you know the basics, you can use Zentangle anytime, anywhere. In fact, many people find it becomes part of their daily routine.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a couple of finished Zentangle artworks, ready to frame, gift, or turn into a card. More importantly, you’ll leave with a calming new practice for wellbeing — one that stays with you long after the class ends.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
