CLASS DESCRIPTION
Come July we’ll have reached the time of year when we YEARN for the windchill. Along with daydreaming about not sweating when we merely look outside, we’re over here saying that this is the year we stop procrastinating and finish Christmas shopping before the 23rd of December.
This is the year we don’t burn the gingerbread.
THIS is the year we make that homemade stocking set we’ve been talking about since we bought our sewing machine many moons ago.
Come celebrate Christmas in July with Cass and in only six hours learn to make a beautiful quilted stocking, right in time for the August long weekend! That’s sure to give you plenty of time to finish the set before Santa comes down the chimney.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Cassandra is a self-taught sewist and maker inspired by the MeMade movement and passionate about fabric, upcycling, and slow craft. She began crafting actively in 2020 and has since developed skills in hand embroidery, sewing, and knitting. Most evenings, you’ll find her stitching after her two young boys are asleep; hence her Instagram handle @‌the_night_stitch. By day, she teaches middle school and, in her spare time, enjoys working out, experimenting with new recipes, and reading.
