Christmas in July: Dullstroom Weekend Away
24 – 26 July 2026
Pack your winter gear and join us for a festive "Christmas in July" weekend away as we ride to the beautiful Critchley Hackle Lodge in Dullstroom.
Ride leader Rick and Sweep Sue will lead members on a scenic 266 km journey from Engen Route 21 Quickstop in Centurion | Meet at 09H30, Depart at 10H00 | travelling via Bapsfontein, Bronkhorstspruit, Balmoral, Emalahleni, Middelburg, Wonderfontein and Belfast before arriving in the heart of Dullstroom.
Along the way we'll enjoy a lunch stop in Emalahleni, followed by a fuel stop in Belfast for motorcycles with smaller fuel tanks, before completing the final stretch into one of South Africa's favourite winter destinations.
Riders can look forward to crisp winter air, scenic roads, cosy accommodation and a weekend filled with great riding, good food and even better company. As always, members are encouraged to ride with caution, as sections of the route include potholes, speed bumps and narrow roads.
Whether you're joining for the spectacular roads, the camaraderie or simply to experience Dullstroom in winter, this promises to be another memorable BMW Motorcycle Club Pretoria weekend away.
