On July 23rd from noon to 2:00 PM, the Halpatiokee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host their 2nd Annual “Christmas in July at the Fisher House”! If you love our nation’s veterans and want to be a part of helping them during a time of critical medical treatment, here’s your opportunity.
What is this event all about? Well, at this special event we will be showering our local West Palm Beach Fisher House with much needed items to help them meet the needs of the veterans and guests of the Fisher House.
How can you, your organization, or group help in this effort? We welcome you to select one or more of the following:
1.) Begin a local restaurant or grocery store gift card collection-drive and bring those gift cards to the Fisher House on July 23rd, between noon and 2:00 PM. There, you may place those gift cards in special “Christmas Box”. At the end of the event, these gift cards will be presented to the Fisher House manager for her to present to Fisher House guests to help meet their specific needs and to make their stay more comfortable as they face urgent medical treatment.
2. You may bring items from the Fisher House’s very own curated Amazon Wish List on the day of the event or have those items shipped to-

On your behalf, we will transport your sponsored items, with the utmost of care, to the event on the July 23rd event day.
3. Monetary gifts from individuals, organizations, or groups may also be presented to “Friends of Fisher House” on the day of the event.
In whatever manner that you select to help, we the Halpatiokee Chapter, are grateful that you have chosen to stand alongside us as we support our local Fisher House in West Palm Beach as they, each and every day, serve veterans and their families from the surrounding seven counties and beyond. You can know that you made a difference!
Please know that there will be opportunities for special photos at the Fisher House. Those photos will be a reminder of how you offered support to the veterans who gave so much for our nation.
