Light Switch-On
Leighton Buzzard will welcome the festive season in style with the Christmas Light Switch On, taking place from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 27 November.
The much-loved annual celebration promises an evening packed with entertainment for the whole family. The stage programme will showcase fantastic local talent, with performances from Infinite All Stars Cheerleading, Razzamataz, Leighton Buzzard Children’s Theatre and The V.I.Peas, building excitement ahead of the countdown.
Visitors can browse the festive market for seasonal gifts and treats, enjoy the rides and attractions at the funfair, or stop by the Food Court for a variety of delicious food and drink. Santa will also make a special appearance aboard the Rotary Santa Sleigh, bringing Christmas cheer for young and old.
At 7pm, all eyes will turn to the lights as Leighton Buzzard is lit up for the festive season. A dazzling fireworks display will add an extra touch of magic to the celebrations, creating festive memories for everyone gathered in the town.
Wrap up warm, bring your family and friends and join us from 4pm for an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, festive fun and Christmas sparkle in the heart of Leighton Buzzard.
Leighton Buzzard will then be filled with more music, entertainment and festive cheer spread across four special Saturdays in the High Street.
Taking place on Saturday 28 November and Saturdays 5, 12 and 19 December, the festival will offer something different each week.
From 10am until 3pm, visitors can enjoy live music, community performances, walkabout entertainment and free seasonal craft activities while shopping locally and preparing for Christmas.
