Christmas Connection

The Christmas Connection is a premier holiday event taking place at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, designed to kick off the festive season in a vibrant downtown setting. With an expected attendance of over 40,000 visitors, this event has become a cherished tradition, celebrated for its diverse offerings that include holiday decor, apparel, toys, and gourmet treats. This year marks the 39th edition of the event, showcasing hundreds of local businesses that contribute to its unique charm. Notable exhibitors include Country Hill Furnishings, Cotterman's County Fair Waffles, Corbo's Bakery, Cool Stuff From Egypt, and Compass Soap Co., providing a rich selection of products for attendees. The event is particularly family-friendly, featuring SantaLand, where children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a Sugar Plum Shoppe filled with pre-wrapped gifts priced under $9, perfect for young shoppers.
In addition to the festive shopping experience, the Christmas Connection will also host special appearances, including the beloved actress Karolyn Grimes, known for her role as Zuzu in the classic film 'It’s a Wonderful Life.' She will be available for meet-and-greet sessions throughout the weekend, providing a nostalgic touch to the holiday festivities. Event Manager Gina Gumina has expressed excitement about the move to the Huntington Convention Center, noting that it represents a new chapter for the show, especially following the closure of the I-X Center. This transition promises to enhance the experience for both vendors and attendees, allowing for a more spacious and engaging environment. With a focus on supporting local businesses, the event encourages visitors to explore a wide range of offerings, from artisan foods to handmade crafts, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy as they prepare for the holiday season.
