This annual tradition is taking place on November 14th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event has been going on for close to 50 years! We even held our fair during Covid!
Bohemian National Hall is the home of Sokol Greater Cleveland, which is a gymnastics, social and cultural organization that celebrates our Czech & Slovak Heritage!
The Holiday Fair is the highlight of the year, where we gather together to jump start the Christmas Season. We feature so many items from the Czech Republic! Glass, jewelry, ornaments, pottery, vintage items lovingly donated by members. We have books and raffles! And we have local artisans showing off their wares! Plus 3 local authors!
But the best part is the food. We have a bake sale featuring the goodies our members have baked, along with strudels, vanochky (Christmas Bread), nut rolls, cookies and more! You can get a full meal of pork, dumplings and sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, and chicken paprikash. Or finger foods like Chlebichky (open face sandwiches- A Czech tradition) cabbage and noodles and more!
And don’t forget about our Czech Beer. To keep hydrated, there will be 2 bars open and you can purchase Czech Beer to take home!
There’s carolers singing our holiday favorites, along with a strolling accordion player and you might even get a glimpse of our beautiful marionettes!
