Chris Sclafani's saxophone has electrified the Richmond music scene, performing in extraordinary bands including Brunswick, Afro-Zen Allstars, The Soul Providers, and The Flavor Project. He also led two ensembles: Evolution of The Groove and The C-4tet, both of which performed his original songs and compositions.
With such an eclectic background of styles under his belt, what does blues and jazz mean to saxophonist Chris Sclafani? Thats what we will find out as he will be performing some of his favorite selections that best show his love and appreciation for both of these iconic styles of musical artistry. The band also includes: Sam Koff (trumpet); Freddy Lau (guitar); Nelson Valentine (keys); Aaron Zarrow (drums); and Grady Tollison (bass).
