Join the crew at Laughing Heart Comedy for a work in progress hour from one of Australia's most in demand comedians, Chris Ryan!A journalist, a Mum and now one of the most exciting new voices on the Australian comedy scene, Chris Ryan won Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2019 and a Best Newcomer Nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2021.
Following Chris’ successful debut on the comedy circuit she toured her highly acclaimed second 1 hour stand up show Can’t Complain in 2022, sold out to multiple crowds with Busy in 2023 and most recently in 2024 completed a national tour of her fourth one hour stand up show Good-O to rave reviews. Chris’s stand up is based on her life and the people in it, making it real and relatable, delivered in her signature understated, laconic style. If you’re looking for a song and dance, you’re not getting it.
