Chris Murray MP 2026 Job Fair

On Thursday 27th August, from 10am-12noon, I will be joined by businesses and job seekers from across Edinburgh and Musselburgh, for my second annual Job Fair!

With the support of the DWP, I will be joined by businesses across Edinburgh and Musselburgh for this year's Job Fair, designed to connect the many fantastic employers across the area with local job-seekers, to meet with businesses and discover new opportunities.

Last years' event was a fantastic success, with many excellent conversations held and new opportunities found.

If you’re entering the job market, returning to work, shifting careers, or finding it hard to connect with support services, this fair is for you. It’s about face-to-face conversations with employers actively hiring, and personalised guidance on training, apprenticeships, benefits, and more.

The DWP will be on hand to explain benefit entitlements, job schemes, and training options—many of which people don’t even realise exist.

Attendance is completely free, and to ensure meaningful support, we’re asking participants to reserve a 30-minute slot in advance. You can book online via Eventbrite—or get in touch with my constituency office if you’d prefer assistance.
