Love Your Business in August

Price - £20 plus booking - includes tea/coffee on arrival

Format - Networking when you arrive, then hear from an inspiring speaker, then time to network again at the end.

10% of tickets sales will be going to our 2026 Charity Partner, the Grassmarket Community Project which provides emotional and practical help for vulnerable people in the city, covering everything from drop-in support and befriending to employability and training guidance, and run over 25 weekly free activities.

These include music, crafts, swimming, gardening, meditation, woodwork and literacy classes.The aim is to enhance their life skills, develop confidence and increase their resilience, self-reliance and independence.

They also have a community cinema, Coffee Saints café onsite in the Grassmarket and behind St James Quarter, a Tartan Shop with their very own tartan, and hire out event space, which is great for corporate events and weddings.

Love Your Business is hosted by Michelle Brown, marketing, PR and communications expert with over 20 years’ experience creating impactful multi-channel campaigns for major UK clients including M&S, Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Geox and Specsavers. Michelle also has first-hand experience running her own successful business, Michelle Brown PR, www.michellebrownpr.com, founded in 2014 and is also a Media & Communications part-time university lecturer and business development consultant.
