Chip In for the Trails - Volunteer Day at the Joe Ford Nature Park
Advertisement
We had so much success during our first Chip in for the Trails Volunteer Day back in April but the job isn't finished yet!
Join us for Chip in for the Trails, a volunteer day dedicated to improving and refreshing the trails at the Joe Ford Nature Park.
We’ll be spreading wood chips throughout the park to help protect and maintain our trails — making them safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable for everyone who visits.
Wednesday, September 30th
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (flexible shifts!)
Joe Ford Nature Center and Park
Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like.
But truly — we’re flexible and just happy to have you out there with us.
🌿 WHAT TO BRING:
• Comfortable clothes & closed-toe shoes
• Long pants (recommended but if it's too hot - we get it!)
• Long sleeves depending on weather
• Garden rake (if you have one — we need them!)
🌿 WHY IT MATTERS:
Trail maintenance is essential to keeping this space safe, beautiful, and accessible for our community. This is one of our biggest hands-on projects of the season, and every bit of help makes a difference.
