SUTR’s Unity Festival: standing together against division with speakers, music, community, and homemade snacks. Unity is stronger than hate.
About this Event

Stand Up t Racism Waltham Forest standing together against racist.
Unity Festival, organised by Stand Up To Racism Waltham Forest, is a community gathering built around solidarity, connection and unity against racism making a clear statement that we are strongest when we stand together. At a time when Reform UK and Restore Britain promote division and fear, this festival offers a different message. It brings people together across backgrounds, generations and cultures to show that our communities thrive when we choose connection over scapegoating, dignity over hostility, and hope over intimidation.

The day brings together local residents, families, community groups, trade unionists and campaigners. There will be a panel discussion on radical anti‑racist culture exploring how communities can resist division and build long‑term solidarity. Live music from local performers will run throughout the day, creating a welcoming space for people to meet, talk and build confidence in one another.

For younger attendees, children’s crafts & activities will be available, along with small creative sessions for adults who want to join in. Homemade vegan and non‑vegan snacks and drinks will be available to purchase, adding to the sense of care and community.

Unity Festival is for anyone who wants to push back against division and celebrate the strength we have when we act collectively. It’s a chance to reconnect, to welcome new people in, and to show that unity is more powerful than hate.
