This tournament for all ages. It is meant to be for fun and building community. Players under age 11 can play with an adult for support. There are many different styles of mahjong played in different countries, cities, even in different homes within the same city! We will be following a simplied version of Chinese Mahjong you can find in the discussion section of the event.
Tournament Rules:
The tournament will start with a 9:50 am check in and winners advancing to semifinals at 11:30 am and finals at 12:45PM. Each round will be up to 5 games, with the first person to win 2 games moving on to the next round. The first person to win 2 games of up to 5 in the semifinal round will advance to final table at 12:45 pm. By committing to play in Round 1 and winning, you are committing to continue playing up to three rounds (with each round consisting of up to 5 games with the first person to win 2 games as the round winner)
Prizes will be awarded to the top players.
