Debbie and I have changed our plans going home, after we get off the Ferry in Anacortes on Sunday, Oct. 12th, everybody’s on their own from there.
Debbie and I will be meeting up with some MINI friends and will be going up Mt. Baker for a few days.
We will not be going south with you.
If you’ve reserved the 11:45 am Ferry from Coupeville to Port Townsend, just go online and cancel it, this will save you a $10 no-show fee. I have already canceled our.
Everything else stay the same, just how you’re going home changes.

October 9th - 12th, 2025
Hello, now is the time to book your Ferry rides to and from Orcas Island, WA.
Go to: Washington State Ferries, https://wsdot.wa.gov/travel/washington-state-ferries
The reservations are saving you a spot on that ferry, at that time. Without a reservation, you wait in the standby line, if they have room onboard, you get to go.
Make a reservation for: Thursday, October 9th for the 11:55 am Ferry. From Anacortes to Orcas Island, WA.
Make a reservation for: Sunday, October 12th for the 6:50 am Ferry. From Orcas Island to Anacortes, WA.
All later ferries are “book” full, we can check in about a later time when we’re on the island, but reserves this time of 6:50 am ferry for now.

Debbie and I will be going home a different way. So, ONLY book this ferry if you’re coming south with us!!
Make a reservation for: Sunday, October 12th for the 11:45 pm Ferry. From Coupeville, WA to Port Townsend, WA.

Thursday, October 9th
Meet Up Time: 5:15 am
Meet Up Location: Gee Creek Rest Area, I-5 Northbound, Ridgefield, WA
Depart Time: 5:30 am
I-5 North to: McDonald’s, 1325 Marvin Rd NE, Lacey, WA 98516
Proceed to: McDonald’s, 1301 Commercial St, Anacortes, WA
For regrouping, before getting in line to catch the 11:55 am to Orcas Island Ferry.
We must be in the bounding line by 10:45 am.
Proceed to: Anacortes Ferry Check In Terminal
Have your Online reservation (Paperwork / iPhone) ready to be scanned at the toll booth. Vehicle under 14’ + Driver = $54.30 Vehicle over 14’ + Driver = $68.15
Adult Passenger (19 - 64 years) = $16.50 Adult Passenger (65 + years) = Must show proof
No cost for return trip, but most have a reservation for return trip to Anacortes, WA
Take the 11:55 am Ferry to Orcas Island, WA Arriving at 1:05 pm.
We’ll be too early for checking in at the Resort, so we’ll take a drive to Eastsound, the largest town on the Island. Where we’ll stop, shop and load up on the local Wine and goodies for the weekend. And then, maybe find someplace for Lunch.
Proceed to: West Beach Resort,

Club Group Dinner Thursday night at Cabin # 8: LeWarnes & Registers hosting.
Dinner: Lasagna, French Beard and Salads.
All the fixing for S’mores every night around the fire pit.
Friday, October 10th
Free Day: Maybe a drive up to Mt. Constitution, highest point on Orcas Island. Lots of hiking trails.
Wine and S’mores around the Fire Pit
Saturday, October 11th
Free Day: Maybe a walk-on-board Ferry ride to Friday Harbor for a walk about & lunch.

Sunday, October 12th
Meet Up Time: 6:00 am
Location: Orcas Island Ferry Terminal
Have your Online reservation (Paperwork / iPhone) out and ready to be scanned.
Ferry Depart: 6:50 am
Take the 6:50 am Ferry to Anacortes Ferry Terminal.
(Remember, we might be able to get a later in the day ferry time. But, we have to have a reservation in hand and be on the island, to get a later ferry time)
Go home from here or you could join Debbie and me as we drive down WA State Hwy #20 to catch the 11:45 pm Ferry at Keystone Ferry Landing, going over to Port Townsend, WA.
