[About Chinese Dance Fiesta 2026]

SCDT is proud to present the CDF2026, a vibrant celebration of Chinese culture and heritage through the art of dance.

Happening from 4 to 17 May 2026, this 11th edition will feature eight public performances by talented dancers from schools, community groups and professional dance companies across Singapore. Audiences can look forward to a captivating blend of traditional and contemporary Chinese dance styles at the showcases, starting from Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay on 8 & 9 May, Tampines on 10 May, VivoCity, Level 3 on 15 May, Toa Payoh on 16 May and closing at Chinatown on 17 May.

Besides a series of performances, SCDT is proud to present Professor Ma Jiaqin, China’s first grade Choreographer and Founding Dean of the Dance Academy at Nanjing University of the Arts, China, as the featured artist in the Master Series in collaboration with Esplanade. She will host two public talk-demonstration sessions and two exclusive workshops for dance enthusiasts and experienced dancers for the first time in Singapore from 4 to 9 May.

[About Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre]

SCDT was incorporated in 2014 with the mission to promote Chinese dance through artistic and creative excellence, and to nurture young, promising dancers. Led by Artistic Director Madam Neo Jenny, SCDT envisions itself as a centre of excellence for Chinese dance both locally and internationally and plays a vital role in developing and exploring the identity of Chinese dance in Singapore.

In addition to local performing arts events, the company also showcases its works and participates in exchange opportunities on overseas platforms. Its performances are met with acclaim in countries including Australia, China, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, Portugal, and across Southeast Asia.

Apart from producing innovative and original works that remain relevant to our traditional roots, SCDT is also committed to developing Chinese dance as an accessible art form to the broader community through its Outreach and Education division.

In recognition of its enduring efforts to the local arts scene, the company is honoured to continue to receive the support of the National Arts Council under its Major Company Scheme in 2016 till 31 March 2028.

[Terms and Conditions]

1. Cancellation and Transfer

Due to limited seating capacity, ticket holders are strongly encouraged to cancel or transfer their ticket(s) to another person if they are unable to attend the event.

2. Confidentiality and Privacy

SCDT will comply with all relevant obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) governing the collection, use, disclosure and care of your personal data in accordance with our privacy statement.

We may take photographs and videos of attendees at our events for our advertising and publicity materials, and by joining our events, all attendees shall be deemed to have consented to such collection and/or use on our part.

Notwithstanding, any attendee who wishes to withdraw his or her consent to our collection or use of any photographs or videos that may feature such attendee, may notify SCDT at [email protected], whereupon SCDT will endeavour, as soon as reasonably practicable, to remove any reference to such attendee from our advertising and publicity materials and/or related media programmes; provided always that SCDT shall not be liable to recall or change any such materials or media programmes which have been produced, publicly distributed or disseminated by us prior to receiving such notice.

3. Changes in Programme

SCDT shall make every effort possible to avoid changes in the programme. Should changes be necessary due to factors beyond the reasonable control of SCDT, including (but not limited to) third-party provider changes, war, civil disorder, disease outbreaks, weather or local conditions, SCDT shall be entitled to do so, subject to notice being given as soon as possible.

4. Rights, Disclaimers and Indemnity Relating to Event

4.1 Without limiting any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be responsible or assume any liability to any attendee for:

4.1.1 any injury, damage, loss or delay affecting any person or property not arising from SCDT’s negligence or breach;

4.1.2 any loss, damage, cost, expense or delay suffered or incurred due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: (i) actions or omissions of third parties (including any applicable third party service providers); (ii) mechanical breakdowns; (iii) a Force Majeure Event; (iv) a failure by the attendee to comply with any of his or her obligations hereunder; (vi) a failure by the attendee to follow reasonable instructions.

4.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability to any attendee for any loss, damage, cost and/or expense shall in no event exceed the amount of the fee paid to and received by us in respect of such attendee.

4.3 In no event shall we be liable for any punitive, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, including loss of production, profit, revenue or contract or loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation. We reserve the right to withdraw or change the programme and/or to decline or refuse any Individual to the events, if it appears to us, in our absolute discretion, that such person is likely to endanger the health or safety, or impair the comfort and enjoyment of the other attendees.

4.4 The attendees agree to indemnify SCDT, our partners and our respective facilitators, directors and employees, immediately on demand, against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees (on a full indemnity basis), arising out of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the attendee.

5. Security and Safety concerns

For the safety of all attendees, SCDT, through its representative/s, shall be empowered to manage any attendee in an appropriate manner (including requiring the said attendee to exercise restraint or leave the group) if such a person should act or misbehave in a manner which is unreasonable, violent or detrimental to the enjoyment, interest and safety of the other attendees. In such a situation, SCDT shall not entertain any claims for refund or compensation.

6. Claims & Dispute Resolution

Should the attendee have any complaints, it is desirable that the same be notified to SCDT immediately so that action/s may be taken to resolve the complaint expeditiously. The attendee's complaint should be in writing (either by letter or email) and forwarded to SCDT no later than 7 days upon the completion of the event.

7. Terms & Conditions

Each provision herein is intended to be separate and independent of the others, and in the event that any of the provisions herein is determined or adjudged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions herein shall be unimpaired and shall continue to apply.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the parties expressly submit themselves to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

新加坡华族舞蹈剧场（SCDT）将于 2026 年 5 月 4 日至 5 月 17 日推出备受期待的全国华族舞蹈活动”一起舞FUN天 2026“。此次活动期间将呈现八场精彩的公益演出，汇聚来自新加坡各学府、社区舞团及专业舞蹈团的优秀舞者，通过舞蹈展示中华文化的深厚底蕴与艺术魅力。观众将有机会沉浸在中华传统与现代艺术交融的视觉盛宴中，感受文化的独特魅力。这无疑是一场不容错过的艺术盛会。

此次活动期间将呈现八场精彩的公益演出，汇聚来自新加坡各学府、社区舞团及专业舞蹈团的优秀舞者，通过舞蹈展示中华文化的深厚底蕴与艺术魅力。观众将有机会通过舞蹈演出沉浸在中华传统与现代艺术交融的视觉盛宴中，感受文化的独特魅力。舞蹈演出将分别在滨海艺术中心（5月8日、9日）、淡滨尼（5月10日）、怡丰城（5月15日）、大巴窑（5月16日）以及牛车水（5月17日）举行。

除了精彩演出，SCDT有幸与滨海艺术中心合作邀请了中国国家一级编导、南京艺术学院舞蹈学院首任院长、昆舞创始人马家钦教授作为大师系列的嘉宾。从5月4日至9日期间，马教授将首次通过示范讲座和工作坊，带领新加坡观众深入探索昆舞的历史背景、艺术特征及其文化价值。

【关于新加坡华族舞蹈剧场】

新加坡华族舞蹈剧场（SCDT）是一个致力于推广和发展华族舞蹈艺术的重要机构。其前身是福建会馆舞蹈剧场，最初隶属于福建会馆文化艺术团。2014年，在获得国家艺术理事会种子基金支持以及福建会馆的帮助下，SCDT正式转型为专业舞蹈团体。自此，SCDT不断追求卓越，力图在艺术领域取得更高成就。从2016年4月，获得国家艺术理事会的主要辅助计划资助，并于2017年正式更名为“新加坡华族舞蹈剧场”，彰显了其在华族舞蹈推广与发展的核心地位。

在现任艺术总监梁杰旎的领导下，SCDT以舞蹈为桥梁，推动新加坡华族文化的本土化发展，同时积极参与各种文化交流活动。除了在本地频繁参与文化活动，该舞团还曾赴澳大利亚、中国、加拿大、韩国、墨西哥、葡萄牙以及亚细安国家等，赢得了广泛好评。

SCDT不仅注重呈现高质量的舞蹈表演，还致力于培养年轻的舞蹈人才，让更多社区能够接触和了解华族舞蹈艺术。这些努力为新加坡的表演艺术领域注入了更多活力，也进一步丰富了当地的文化多样性。

1、取消和转让

由于座位容量有限，SCDT 强烈建议无法出席活动者将门票取消或转让给其他人。

2、机密性和隐私

SCDT 将严格遵守《2012年个人数据保护法》（PDPA）以及相关隐私声明，确保参与者的机密性和隐私得到保护。在活动中，SCDT 可能会拍摄照片和视频用于记录或其他相关用途，所有参与者默认同意此类收集和使用。

如果您希望撤回对此类照片或视频使用的同意，可以通过发送邮件至 [email protected] 通知 SCDT。SCDT 将在合理可行的情况下尽快处理您的请求，并从广告、公众材料及相关媒体中移除相关内容。SCDT 始终不承担撤回或修改在收到通知前已公开分发或传播的任何材料或媒体计划的责任。

3、活动更改

SCDT保留在特殊情况下更改活动的权利，例如因不可抗力因素导致的情况，包括但不限于第三方提供者的调整、战争、社会动乱、疾病爆发、天气或其他当地条件的影响。在这些情况下，SCDT将尽快通知相关参与者，并尽力提供相同或类似标准的替代安排。然而，参与者需知悉，在上述情况下，他们无权要求任何形式的赔偿。

4、与活动相关的权利，免责声明和赔偿

4.1 在法律允许的最大范围内，SCDT 对于以下情况不承担责任：

4.1.1 任何非因 SCDT 疏忽或违规造成的人身或财产损失、损害、伤害或延误。

4.1.2 超出 SCDT 合理控制范围的情况，包括但不限于：(i）第三方行为或疏忽（如第三方服务提供商）导致的损失、损害、费用或延误； （ii）机械故障； （iii）不可抗力事件； （iv）参与者未履行义务； （v） 参与者未遵循合理指示。

4.2 在法律允许的最大范围内，SCDT 对任何参与者的最大赔偿不得超过该参与者支付并由SCDT收到的活动费用金额。

4.3 SCDT 不承担任何形式的惩罚性、特殊、间接或后果性损失，包括但不限于生产、利润、收入、合同的损失，或商誉及声誉的损害。此外，我们保留随时调整活动内容和安排的权利，同时也有权拒绝或取消任何参与者的资格。如果我们判断某位参与者可能对工作人员或其他参与者造成影响或威胁，我们拥有绝对的酌情决定权。

4.4 参与者需确保遵守相关条款和条件，否则一旦违反，将承担相应责任。根据协议，参与者需赔偿SCDT及其相关方（包括其合作伙伴、导师、董事和职员）因违反条款而产生的所有索赔、损失和费用，包括法律费用。这表明协议对参与者有较高的合规要求，同时也保护了SCDT及其相关方的合法权益。

5、安全问题

如果参与者出现不合理、暴力或有害行为，SCDT 的代表有权采取必要措施，包括要求该个人限制行为或离开小组。这一规定旨在保护工作人员和其他参与者的安全与利益。需要注意的是，在此类情况下，SCDT 不承担任何退款或赔偿责任。因此，建议所有参与者在活动中保持尊重与合作的态度，共同营造一个安全、和谐的环境。

6、索赔和争议解决

如果参与者有任何投诉，应立即通知SCDT，以便迅速采取行动解决问题。投诉应以书面形式（通过信件或电子邮件）提交，并在活动结束后不迟于7天转发给SCDT。

7、条件和条款

本文的每项规定旨在分开且独立于其他规定，如果本文确定或裁定任何规定是无效，非法或不可执行的，则此处剩余条款的有效性，合法性和可行性应不受影响，并应继续适用。

8、法律

本协议应受新加坡共和国法律的管辖，当事各方明确提交新加坡法院的非排他性管辖权。
