After supporting Aussie rap legend Drapht on this very stage in 2022, ChillCheney returns to Waywards Ballroom — this time headlining with the full power of the band.
Fronted by Wiradjuri rapper Lance Cheney, ChillCheney blends hard-hitting hip hop with raw rock energy, creating a sound that’s as emotionally gripping as it is explosive live. A proud First Nations act making waves across the country, their music has earned national recognition for its honesty, grit, and intensity.
Following the release of their new EP Shadows (July 24), the band — featuring Tom Kelly on drums, Tristan Field on electric guitar, and Sahaja on DJ + vocals — is set to bring the project to life with high-impact live arrangements, crowd favourites, and unreleased tracks.
