Children's Adventure Camp: December 25-29, 2024, RamnagaraAge group: 11 to 15 years
Training cost: 7500/- (Bangalore to Bangalore) - Includes transportation, food, accommodation, administrative expenses, tentage; complete camping facilities, technical gear, experienced instructors, guides, resource persons, camp helpers, certificates etc.
Continuing with its tradition of conducting an annual Children’s Outdoor Adventure and Awareness Camp, this
year too, the association will be organizing a comprehensive camp in the GETHNAA (General Thimayya
National Academy of Adventure) facility in Ramanagara from 25.12.24 to 29.12.24. It is a wonderful, self
sustained campsite that has sufficient infrastructure to hold such camps. In fact, training camps, corporate
programmes etc are held here quite regularly under the aegis of GETHNAA
THE PROGRAM WILL INCLUDE:
• Camping & Outdoor Adventure Etiquettes
• Mountaineering Gear Introduction
• Ropes & Knots (Demo & Practice)
• Tent Pitching Classes
• Basic Rock Climbing
• Abseiling, Zipline, Tyrolean Traverse, Commando Net
• Artificial Wall Climbing
• High Rope Activities
• Trekking
• Evening talks/classes on Survival Techniques, film show on nature,
adventure, motivational talks etc.
• Leadership and Teamwork
• Campfire activities and other fun activities
OTHER INFORMATION:
• Dormitory/Tented accommodation (separately for boys and girls).
• Excellent wholesome vegetarian food.
• A centralised medical kit will be carried.
• Camp site and course activities carefully chosen and planned to provide for an excellent outdoor learning
experience.
• Fun filled evenings including campfire.
Absolute importance is given to the safety & security of the children as always.
Children will be accompanied by qualified & trained instructors from the association including a couple of lady instructors.
Strictly no visitors will be allowed into the campsite/training area
